MINNOWS/SEALS

Henleaze Minnows, in partnership with Clifton High School, runs every Sunday (term time circa 38 weeks a year - see dates below) at the School pool and offers lessons from babies to advanced, charting all components of the Swim England National Teaching Plan with the addition of our own, bespoke Club Development criteria. 

We commence with Parent and baby/toddler groups on a Sunday morning - a fun, sing-a-long active session to spend quality developmental aquatic time, developing and exploring fundamental aquatic skills, with your little one.

We then run through 4 Minnows stages, that develop the skill sets, movement patterns and strokes for lifelong enjoyment and create the potential opportunity for further development in our Club “bifrost” sessions, or our Seals programme! Here, the skills are transferred to lane swimming in preparation for Junior Squad and entry into our competitive and/or fitness pathways.

At Minnows we keep class sizes very small (ususally 4:1) to ensure the best learning environment, particularly at beginner stages and also offer 1-2-1 sessions as required.
